Solutions
One VCS, built for who you actually are.
Whether you're running a team of AI agents, shipping solo, guarding production secrets, maintaining a popular open-source project, versioning gigabytes of game assets, or answering to auditors — TOVIO is designed for your reality, not Git's defaults.
AI-agent teams
Your agents fight over Git's one index, and handing them a human's full credentials gives them far more reach than they need — with no honest record of what they did.
First-class agent authorization — scoped capability tokens, per-agent lanes, and signed provenance — so a whole fleet can work one repository in parallel while TOVIO-mediated operations stay within explicit authority. Runner and tool isolation remain separate operator responsibilities.
Solo developers
You want full history and the option to encrypt a stray secret, but you don't want to stand up a server or manage a Key Authority.
Tier-0 Solo encryption with age keys works fully offline — no server, no KA. Encrypt a path, keep your whole history local.
Teams with secrets
Config, keys, and deploy files live in the repo. One bad push leaks them, and everyone with clone access can read everything.
Per-file encryption with a Tier-1 hybrid envelope means only explicitly named recipients with an authorized wrapped content key decrypt a protected path — the rest see ciphertext. Signed attribute claims guide the Tier-1 Key Authority's recipient decision; Tier-2 moves policy evaluation into the cryptography at decrypt time.
OSS maintainers
Drive-by contributors and rebases scramble history, orphan review threads, and make provenance hard to trust.
Change-centric identity — stable chg: IDs survive rebase — keeps reviews and provenance attached, and the Apache-2.0 core is free to run on your own infrastructure.
Game studios
Textures, models, and audio bloat the repo. Git-LFS pointers, smudge filters, and separate storage are a constant tax.
Binary parity via FastCDC content-defined chunking — large binaries are first-class, deduplicated, and versioned with no LFS.
Enterprises
Auditors ask who read which secret and when. With Git, there's no honest answer — read access is invisible.
Implemented audit paths make protected reads through TOVIO tamper-evident. Tier-2 CP-ABE has passed its enterprise KA conformance and internal-review gate, but remains behind private, default-off release boundaries and is not currently available. Threshold/KMS authority, hosted parity, and live-provider evidence remain open.
Not sure which one is you?
Most teams are several of these at once. The good news: it's one system, one model, one workflow.
